Can I switch plans anytime?
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade at any time. Changes take effect on your next billing cycle.
How many people can use a subscription?
Each subscription or license is for 2 people.
What's a seat?
A seat is one user license. Each subscription or license is for 2 people.
How do I activate a license?
Sign in before checkout, or use Restore purchases from the account dashboard or Mac app. Google, GitHub, and password sign-in can all activate the same purchase when the email matches checkout.
How does hosted AI usage work?
Free does not include Prism Hosted requests. Free users get unlimited standard chat through their own API keys. Paid plans unlock every Prism feature and include a set amount of hosted AI usage each month — ~350 messages on Plus — which you spend across hosted models like GPT-5, Claude, and Gemini. Need more? Add usage packs ($5, $10, or $25) any time.
What is the local proxy?
Paid plans include an OpenAI-compatible local proxy in the Prism Mac app. Enable it under Settings → Local Proxy to route external tools — such as Claude Code and other coding CLIs — through whatever models you have configured in Prism. Free plans do not include local proxy access. See the Prism CLI page for setup details.
