Can I switch plans anytime?
Manage your current subscription in the account dashboard. Prism Plus is available now; Prism Cloud is coming soon. Existing subscribers keep their current price and allowances.
How many people can use a subscription?
Each subscription or license is for 2 people.
What's a seat?
A seat is one user license. Each subscription or license is for 2 people.
How do I activate a license?
Sign in before checkout, or use Restore purchases from the account dashboard or Mac app. Google, GitHub, and password sign-in can all activate the same purchase when the email matches checkout.
How does hosted AI usage work?
Prism Plus includes 100 Prism AI credits per month. Credit consumption varies by model and request size; credits are usage units with no cash value or guaranteed message count. Prism and Prism Cloud do not include hosted AI credits. Use your own API keys with separate provider billing, or purchase hosted AI usage packs. AI usage and cloud compute are separate allowances.
Is self-hosted compute free?
Yes. Run agents on your own Mac or server through SSH or Tailscale with no Prism compute charge. App access, your hardware and electricity, and model usage are separate costs.
What counts toward cloud compute time?
The Prism Cloud plan includes 30 container hours per month. Time includes startup, workspace preparation, execution, and retained remote results until release. Monthly hours do not roll over. Hosted AI usage is separate.
What is the local proxy?
Paid plans include an OpenAI-compatible local proxy in the Prism Mac app. Enable it under Settings → Local Proxy to route external tools — such as Claude Code and other coding CLIs — through whatever models you have configured in Prism. Free plans do not include local proxy access. See the Prism CLI page for setup details.
